Advertising & Affiliates
Have you wondered how this website pays its bills?
Thank you for visiting Thought-Management.com (the website). This is a personal hobby site and I am not directly paid for writing any of its content. All of the content provided on this site is at my sole discretion and I diligently strive to keep it high quality. Keeping content unbiased by any form of advertising payment is a part of this effort.
Please be advised, though, that Thought-Management.com does sometimes receive a small advertising commission if you happen to look at, purchase or sign up for certain things through some third-party links. In order to avoid even the appearance a conflict of interest and in the spirit of full disclosure, I always attempt to keep it obvious whenever such a link is sponsored. They only exist to help make possible the free high-quality information provided and my primary objective is always to give maximum value for time you spend on the site. Any any advertising thereon is not allowed to compromise this prime objective.
So that these links can ultimately save you money here are some of my criteria:
- When you click through Thought-Management.com affiliate links you will pay the same amount you would if you went directly to the affiliate site or, strangely enough, sometimes even less. Many times companies offer special discounts and promotions only through their affiliate partners; these special discounts are a win-win for both of us. I wouldn’t even know to make you aware of such promotions except for being an affiliate.
- My preference is companies that help find the best prices from different sources. Then you can choose what is best for you.
- I am always looking for opportunities to give visitors good discounts on excellent, relevant products. Though Thought-Management.com advertising space is limited, to protect user experience, please let me know if you are aware of a vendor which visitors to this site would love to know about.
- Whenever I determine that a source is no longer providing good value it is dropped.
Should prospective advertisers wish to learn more about Thought-Management.com please contact me to discuss the possibilities. Any advertising must (1) provide real value to Thought-Management.com visitors, (2) be relevant to the site theme, (3) be readily identifiable by site visitors as an advertisement (as opposed to an ad disguised as content), (4) open in a separate window and and include a “nofollow” attribute in the html code as per Google policy.
“Ads by Google” are not selected by me; therefore, if you happen to see a Google advertisement and a web page about the same service it is merely a coincidence. Even though I may make some pennies when you click Google ads I always wonder, “Why did they want to go somewhere else?” It’s a catch-22 but again still a win-win. I’m pleased when you enjoy my content and stay on Thought-Management.com but, on the other hand, if you didn’t find what you wanted then it’s good that there was some useful information from Google on the page. Hopefully you will visit Thought-Management.com again someday soon.
My goal is to deliver you the best, most useful and informative content possible. Hopefully this content will keep you returning to my site. If you find it informative, then please help by recommending Thought-Management.com to friends or by going on any blog or travel site and posting a link there. You can also find buttons that help you post to Facebook, StumbleOn, Pinterest, Email, etc. on Thought-Management.com; any such social media posts are appreciated too.
