Thank you for attending this memorial service in Dennis Sullivan’s honor.
As most of you well know, Denny was a good good man. Many here could tell stories of his kind deeds which they have personally received or observed. He was a quiet, humble man so outsiders never knew how much he was always giving but we here are lucky to know at least a small part of them.
Dennis had great moral character and a deep love of God. He was also exceedingly persistent, energetic and industrious so that his quiet practical impact in doing good for God and in supporting others was truly extraordinary.
For over 60 years as a practicing attorney Denny’s focus was on being a trusted friend rather than on worldly success. As such, he helped many thousands of families with their family trusts and personal affairs in times of need. He earned much respect and love for such good services.
He was also a founder, long-time board member and active, steadfast, behind the scenes supporter of many spiritually-oriented organizations such as the Kansas City Christian School, Youth for Christ, and John Knox Village, as well as dozens of local churches and worldwide missions.
Dennis was a trustworthy, loyal, caring friend you could always depend on; he would definitely stand by you through thick and thin. Denny left the world a much better place for his being here. We well know him to be a good good man and a truly great friend.
Many of us here love Dennis Sullivan and we all honor him and will deeply miss his kind, good, friendly presence among us.
